Through advanced Japanese language education, we want to cultivate successful human resources that can contribute to the friendships and developments between Japan and foreign countries.
Gifu Prefecture is located almost in the center of Japan, offering a balanced mix of nature, culture, and convenience. With easy access to major cities such as Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo, and a relatively affordable cost of living, it provides a safe and comfortable environment for students to study.
Local people are very kind and friendly to international students. You can enjoy the beauty of Japan’s four seasons while experiencing traditional culture such as Gifu Castle, Gujo Odori, and the Takayama Festival.
In addition, Gifu Prefecture has long been an industrially active region. Once centered on the textile industry, today it thrives in aviation, machinery, and traditional woodworking. Neighboring Aichi Prefecture is home to Toyota and many automotive-related industries, and both Gifu and Aichi have numerous vocational schools that train automotive engineers. Gifu also has prefectural technical schools where students can study aircraft maintenance and industrial technologies, nurturing skilled professionals for the manufacturing field.
Gifu is an ideal place for students who want to study seriously in a quiet and safe environment. Here, traditional culture and modern life coexist in harmony, allowing you to live comfortably while learning in ways that connect to a bright future.
Our school opened in April 2021 as the first Japanese language school officially designated by the Ministry of Justice in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture. The purpose of establishing our school is to cultivate human resources who can contribute and succeed in Japanese society and companies, or in their home countries in the future, through advanced Japanese language education, and to promote friendship and mutual development between Japan and other countries.
From April 2022, our school offered comprehensive Japanese language education through online classes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These classes were provided for students who were unable to come to Japan at that time. As the pandemic has ended and students are now able to come to Japan, the online classes have been discontinued.
Our conversation-focused classes help students acquire practical and usable Japanese. We actively incorporate expressions and phrases commonly used in daily life, and ample time is provided for speaking and conversation practice in class. Through role-plays, pair work, and group activities, students naturally develop their communication skills and become able to communicate smoothly in a short period of time.
Our school provides a well-organized support system through homeroom teachers and student life advisors, allowing students to seek guidance with confidence on both academic and daily life matters. We offer careful support in a wide range of areas, including administrative procedures, hospital and local government guidance, and part-time job consultations, ensuring that students can live comfortably in Japan.
We offer a variety of in-house scholarship programs to actively support highly motivated students. Selections are based on attendance, academic performance, and engagement in school life, enabling students who make consistent efforts to continue their studies in a better learning environment.
The area surrounding our school is conveniently located near supermarkets, convenience stores, and large shopping malls, making daily life very convenient.Set in a calm environment ideal for learning practical Japanese, our school provides a balanced setting where students can easily manage both their studies and daily life, allowing them to focus on learning with peace of mind.
During the officially designated long vacation periods, international students with a valid “Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted by the Status of Residence” are allowed to work up to
8 hours per day, or approximately 40 hours per week, exceeding the usual weekly limit of 28 hours.
To ensure compliance with Japanese immigration regulations, both employers and students are encouraged to verify the official long-vacation dates provided by the school.
This document serves as an official certification of our institution’s long vacation period and can be presented to employers when required.
